Hey everyone! I set up a proper gofundme now that I have the total cost of my surgery.
All info is listed on the page, but the tl;dr is that I need to raise at least 3,379 dollars to afford my surgery. (half the total cost of 6,758) I’ll also naturally be out of work for about a week while i’m recovering

i know these posts may be annoying and a lotta ppl need help but rent is due in 2 weeks from now (6/17)
my oldest kid’s birthday set us back, along with complications that came along with my roommate having to re-apply for unemployment bc of all the hoops they make you jump through to prove you “deserve it” and are really unemployed
i just need 500 for rent, and anything else would help extremely for groceries, esp since i’m still far from my goal with my top surgery gofundme
i’m putting off my own post for now because my best friend of 16 years is homeless and needs to afford basic supplies, food, a tent etc. she’s all the way in kentucky so i’m not able to give her the help i want to since she doesn’t have a way to kansas and doesn’t want me to take her in.
she recently lost her kids due to being forced to leave her abusive husband’s house (he’s also a cop, and would call the police on her all the time whenever she would get angry during arguments, and was treated like a child with very little autonomy)
